I was born in Memphis, Tennessee where most of my family is from. My biological father met my biological mother at Stax Records where they both worked. He was a producer. She was a receptionist. A bunch of my cousins migrated to Los Angeles and we soon followed.
Ultimately my mother met and married the man who not biologically but unquestionably is my father—a white Jewish man, who was raised in an atheist family, was a Buddhist when we met him, and ultimately converted to Christianity, so the household I was raised in was full of diverse perspectives. I myself was raised as Catholic but converted to Protestant Christianity and ultimately landed on identifying as a Hebrew Israelite.
I am an ex-breakdancer/inactive emcee/deejay. I deejayed at Dublins and the Key Club In Hollywood. My Hip Hop background is thorough and expansive and the origin of my moniker “mR. tNiAs gUy” (pronounced “mister nice guy”—nice spelled as “saint” spelled backwards).
I graduated from high school in 89, but got my second college degree (bachelor of science in business administration and marketing) in 99. I got an AA in business administration sometime before that.
I work for two lawfirms. One during the day, the other at night. The one I work for at night is my father’s lawfirm and I have been working there since 84 ultimately doing everything but practicing law. I am just a legal secretary for the daytime employment lawfirm I work for.
I am married and have an adult daughter who will also be married very soon. She is a clinical psychiatrist. My wife is a group home administer for an international ministry that supports young females with rough childhoods, often abused and/or trafficked. My wife is quite possibly the most knowledgeable, effective and respected group home admin in her field.
